Thanks, Cyndie, and dolphins. Truly a message we need to be reminded of when we experience pain for our dear mother and siblings on the planet.

Good Morning, Cyndie:

I don't even know where to begin. This whole thing is breaking my heart. I have been feeling so pained for the dolphins, manatees, turtles, and birds. I've been researching ways to promote involvement in cleanup for our water friends and found a way for people to be involved; however, it has restrictions including the fact that you must be a resident of the county in which you volunteer or work. http://www.volunteerfloridadisaster.org/Deepwater/qcrs/QCR_FAQs.pdf I just feel helpless right at this moment; however, I will wait to see what God wants me to do and will be ready when His time is right for me. I expect that will be as this monster approaches the Florida shores closer to an area I can help like Tampa Bay. My prayers are with you and with our water friends. Blessings.
Hey, Cyndie:

We have a lot in common in our life journeys -- our healing work, Reiki, living all over the world, love of the Bahamas.

Your wonderful story reminds me of a personal experience. When I was pregnant and working in Cambridge, MA, I used to have a frozen yogurt every afternoon. One day, I went down to the restaurant in my company's building. The same woman was working the counter everyday at 3:00. I was usually the only person at this time of day; however, on this day, another woman was in front of me and she order what was my favorite flavor -- Peach. The woman behind the counter told her that they were out of Peach so she got something else and left. When I approached the counter I said, "So, you are out of Peach, huh?" Without uttering a word, the woman turned and began twisting into a cup whatever Peach was left in the machine and handed it to me free of charge. She told me, "In my country, when a pregnant woman asks for something, you never deny her." She was from Ethiopa.

I was so thankful, more for the message than the Peach yogurt. I wish we, in our "advanced" society, did not lose this sense of priority. So often, it is "me first" not "who may be more deserving or needy than me". Although I may not always get it right, I try to keep this in mind as I go through my connections with others. Thanks for reminding me of this treasured connection with a caring loving person. Blessings.
